Junk drawer bed/bench

The junk drawer is a perfect multi use feature. Not only great for its original intended use, but also doubles as a comfortable bench and a stealthy sleeping surface for when the camper isn’t popped, or just an additional bed for a friend or a kid. I widened the surface by 8 inches using a half inch sheet of Baltic birch, finished with a truck bed liner coating similar to the junk drawer. It stows and deploys using four heavy duty folding brackets. I ordered two custom cushions, one for each section, and plan to either button or Velcro them to the junk drawers to keep them in place. I’m really satisfied with this modification and highly recommend it to anybody needing some extra seating or sleeping area.
