DIY Fix – Sealing the Gaps in the Tent Corners

I noticed there are some gaps in the back corners of the Lone Peak tent. Light comes through these openings, and I even found three stink bugs inside that probably got in through there. During cold weather, I could also feel cold air coming in, making the tent colder.

So I decided to seal them up using some leftover insulation fabric from my roof insulation project. I attached the fabric with Velcro, so it’s easy to remove if needed.

It worked great! No more light or cold air coming through those gaps, and hopefully no more stink bugs either! 😂

I also tested opening and closing the tent several times, and everything works perfectly with no issues.

Pretty simple DIY fix, but definitely worth doing, especially for winter camping!
