Weekend of climbing

Mid week climbing trip with a perfect home base camping spot made for the most excellent jaunt.

My Adventure

Had some time off and finally checked off some climbs I had on my list. We loaded up the lone peak with all our gear, I filled the water tank and appropriately stocked the fridge. Our objective was the largest blank piece of rock high up in the Uinta mountain range. The climb was called Sun & Steel and took a long scramble/hike to approach the base. We swapped leads, placed some gear and after a handful of pitches we reached the summit. After taking it all in, we rappelled and made the long approach back to the camper with some cold drinks waiting for us.
