From Fairways to Red Rocks

What do NBA basketball, world-class golf courses, towering red rock cliffs, Matt’s off road recovery and nights under a sky full of stars have in common? They were all part of one unforgettable spring road trip! With my Lone Peak Camper along for the ride, I headed south with no shortage of adventure ahead… from the bright lights of Salt Lake City and Las Vegas to some of the most breathtaking campsites in the Southwest. Here’s how it all unfolded!

My Adventure

This spring, I pointed the truck south for an unforgettable adventure with the Lone Peak Camper! Our first stop was Salt Lake City, where we enjoyed some friendly competition at Topgolf and caught a Utah Jazz game. From there, we headed south toward St. George, where we found one of the most incredible cliffside campsites. We cooked dinner surrounded by towering red rocks and breathtaking desert views, then spent the evening under a sky filled with more stars than you could count. No city lights, no distractions… just the peaceful desert and an incredible view. One of the highlights of the trip was getting to meet the crew at Matt’s Off Road Recovery! We toured their facility, checked out their famous recovery rigs, and got a behind-the-scenes look at their operation. Of course, no trip through southern Utah would be complete without exploring Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. The landscapes were absolutely unreal! We continued west to Las Vegas, where we got to experience the Sphere in person, and managed to squeeze in rounds of golf at several amazing courses along the way. From bustling cities and golf courses to remote cliffside campsites and national parks, this trip had a little bit of everything. And the best part? Having the Lone Peak Camper meant we could go wherever the adventure took us, with everything we needed right in the back of the truck. Different destinations, unforgettable memories, and the freedom to explore… that’s what having a Lone Peak is all about!
